Teen Review: Monster

Posted in Realistic Fiction, Teens Read on July 24, 2013 by juniebeth

Book CoverI like how the author made the book a film by Steve Harmon and his life through trial. It shows what happens because of gangs and how some people do not trust each other. I also like how Steve Harmon wrote the dialogue between other people and that he is writing the whole trial. The author creates suspense as Steve finds out if he is guilty or not. And he makes you want to read more after the book is over, not making the ending clear and hopeful.***

Teen Review: Crave

Posted in Romance, Vampires on July 24, 2013 by juniebeth

Book CoverI like how the author does not introduce the main characters, Shay and Gabriel right away. Shay has to make a choice between family that could be dangerous, or someone she just met, that helps her live. I like how the author made Shay see through Gabriel’s point of view when she has the blood transfusions. This book also shows addiction, like Shay’s addiction to Gabriel’s blood.****

Book JacketThe Hunger Games is a fasinating book full of suspense, romance, and action. When you read this you don’t want to put  it down. when I read this book every page I turned filled me with suspense. Also when I read i dissapear off the face of the earth into a lost universe where it’s only me and the book. this was one of the best things I ever read. Everyday I would read non-stop until the end of the book. I read the book in less than a week thats how good it was. I also watched the movie. The really alike.  Most people say the book and movie of everything is different. But thats wrong the movie and book of the Hunger Games have alot incommon. I can’t wate to read the rest of the series. Also what got me pumped is I heard rumers going around that they are making a movie of Catching Fire [Next book in the Hunger Games seires]. THats my review! I really recomend this book.*****
